On Oct. 29, Expand Energy reported its 3Q 2025 financial and operating results. To learn more, see our news release and presentation.
“Expand is answering the world’s call for more affordable, reliable, lower carbon energy. In one short year, we have significantly scaled and strengthened our business and are well positioned to access and safely deliver natural gas into new and growing power, industrial and LNG markets,” said Nick Dell’Osso, Expand Energy’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We continue to deliver leading capital efficiency in each of our operating areas demonstrating our ability to increase returns on investment across our diverse portfolio. Importantly, as illustrated by our Lake Charles Methanol SPA, we are capitalizing on our strengths to focus not simply on value protection, but critically, on value creation. We are using our unique global scale to expand the value of each molecule, in the U.S. and abroad.”

Get to Know Charlie Chandler, Support Superintendent– Haynesville

Charlie Chandler has spent more than two decades in the oil and gas industry. He’s a Louisiana native who started his career in the industry at the age of 17. It’s the people that he gets to work with every day that have kept him in the business.
How would you describe your job to someone outside of the industry?
I serve as a support superintendent, which means I manage the teams responsible for pad construction, produced water logistics and disposal, company saltwater disposal projects and frac water transfer. Every day is different. I usually start by visiting each area supervisor to see how operations are running and where support might be needed. From there, it’s a lot of planning and making sure people stay safe and jobs run efficiently.
If you asked my kids though, they think I just drink coffee, sit in meetings and be grumpy all day.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
It’s the people. I get to work with some incredible folks and help develop future leaders at Expand Energy. You can walk down the hallways here at any moment and see people collaborating and problem solving. It’s amazing how quickly that sense of teamwork came together after the merger.
Managing a diverse team from both legacy companies during the merger was challenging but also really rewarding. Everyone came in eager to work together and align on common goals. Watching that collaboration take shape has made me really proud of the group we have here.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
My wife and I have five kids, and for years we were all over the place with football, baseball, soccer, swim and cheer. Now that only one is at home, life’s slowed down a bit — which has been nice. My wife and I have taken up running and fitness as our new hobby. She’s a trainer and runs a local run group, and I just completed my first full-distance Ironman.
In the Community – Celebrating Our First Anniversary

Expand Energy marked our first anniversary in October with a series of community service projects and celebrations across the company. From packing meals at food banks to picking up litter, employees came together to show what Expand for Good means in action. Each celebration was a reminder that our company’s success is because of our people and the communities we call home.
Highlights of these celebrations and our other community work include:
- Feeding Hope in our Community: Once a month throughout this past quarter, Haynesville employees volunteered their time with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana helping pack and prepare goods for distribution. The Haynesville team’s efforts have helped ensure that families in need receive essential supplies with care and dignity.
- Lending a Hand for the Red River Rodeo: Members of the Haynesville team gathered to help prepare for the Red River Parish Fair and Rodeo. Employees helped hang signs and prepare fair grounds to be event-ready. Expand Energy also donated money to help with preparations for the staple community event in September.
- Paving the Way to Community Access Through Parking Lot Expansion: Our team partnered with a neighboring church near one of our field sites in Red River Parish to help engineer a fully paved parking lot for safe, accessible parking. Our involvement included funding, planning support and assistance with manual labor.
