Operational Update
On July 29th, Expand Energy reported its 2025 Q2 financial and operating results. To learn more, see our news release and presentation.
“Expand Energy was created to make a more durable and efficient business,” said Nick Dell’Osso, Expand Energy’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are delivering more for less, outperforming every expectation set when we announced our merger, including an approximate 50% increase to run-rate synergies. Importantly, our outperformance is repeatable, achieving approximately 30% more free cash flow in 2025 and approximately 20% more in 2026 compared to our expectations at the beginning of the year. This significant improvement further demonstrates how our culture of continuous improvement creates value for our shareholders.”

Employee Spotlight
Get to Know Tony Blizzard, Maintenance Foreman – Southwest Appalachia

Tony is Expand Energy’s longest tenured employee — recently celebrating 45 years with the company and its legacy organizations. He attributes his success to a simple philosophy: always ask questions and never stop learning. He and his wife have two sons — one of whom, TJ Blizzard, now works with him at Expand Energy.
How do you describe your role to your family or neighbors?
As a maintenance foreman it’s my responsibility to ensure that the equipment and facilities where we’ve got people at work are operating correctly, efficiently and safely. My job requires me to be a jack of all trades — I get the right people in the right places to make sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
How have you seen the industry change over your 45-year career?
I still remember my first time going out in the oilfield, I felt so out of place when I got my start. That was a long time ago, now it feels like second nature.
It’s unbelievable how much progress has been made in the industry. It’s really different than when I started working on conventional wells. I’d compare the evolution in the industry to shifting from building a single-family home to now designing office complexes — unconventional drilling is on a whole other level. I’ve learned more than I ever thought I could, and that’s really what’s kept me excited about the job. I get to work with smart people, and I know I can always ask questions to understand the job better.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love spending time with my family and my grandkids. On the weekends I love to watch them play sports, and they play everything!
I also love woodworking. In 1996 my wife and I built our house from the ground up and we’ve lived there since. I’ve got a really nice woodworking shop at my house. I even built a house for our very spoiled cat. I’ve lived in Licking County my whole life and enjoy the life and community we’ve got here.
In the Community
During the past quarter, Expand Energy’s employees have been active members of their community, supporting a number of initiatives in our operating areas. Highlights include:
- Supporting Flood Relief Efforts in West Virginia: Expand Energy employees sprung to action to support our neighbors in Elm Grove, Valley Grove and Triadelphia — partnering with first responders and charitable organizations in coordinated disaster relief. Through our charitable partners, we provided hands-on help to muck out basements, distribute meal gift cards and cover emergency vet bills and temporary housing expenses (pictured below).
- Advocating for our Industry at The Pennsylvania Energy Innovation Summit: Expand Energy joined forces with leading energy companies and policymakers, including Secretary of Energy Doug Burgum, to spotlight the vital role of American energy in driving national progress. Expand Energy employees gathered with other industry leaders to discuss natural gas’ role in supporting Pennsylvania’s economy and job market, and the growing demand for AI across the country (pictured above).
- Cleaning up our Community for Earth Day: We wrapped up another impactful Earth Day celebration by cleaning nearly five miles of Big Wheeling Creek and restocking it with over 4,000 pounds of fish for the community to enjoy. The event was centered around education, conservation and community development. We were joined by local fifth graders from Elm Grove Elementary who provided hands-on help throughout the day (pictured below).

Sustainability Feature
Expand Energy recently published its 2024 Sustainability Report, highlighting how we’re driving energy security through responsible, domestic energy production. This report shares our commitments, but more importantly, it allows you to review our sustainability-related progress and performance in our first year.
