Expand Energy Releases 2025 Sustainability Report

June 17, 2026

Every year, we highlight our sustainability performance to encourage accountability — documenting not just what we accomplished, but how we are creating value for our stakeholders. By publishing an annual sustainability report, we showcase our company’s commitment to stewardship and responsible operations. Read our 2025 Sustainability Report.

2025 by the Numbers

In 2025 we delivered record operational results and greater cost efficiency without compromising our high safety and environmental standards.

  • 0.13 combined TRIR, placing us within the top 10% of our industry peers.
  • 0.0049 (near zero) spill intensity, meaning we managed more than 43 million barrels of produced liquids and contained 99.99%.
  • 0.03% Scope 1 methane intensity, independently verified and industry leading.
  • 100% of production certified as responsibly sourced gas (RSG), making Expand Energy the largest producer of EO100™ and MiQ certified RSG in North America.
  • ~$5 million contributed to charitable organizations and environmental conservation projects across our operating areas.

Why Reporting Matters

Operational excellence is table stakes at Expand Energy and more essential than ever as natural gas markets shift. As North America’s largest natural gas producer, we have the responsibility (and privilege) to define sustainability leadership for our industry.

Our 2025 Sustainability Report is our company’s account of how we’re meeting that obligation. This report is our opportunity to show how stewardship and character guide us, and how we hold ourselves accountable to the communities, partners and industry who rely on us.

An Additional Resource: Climate Report

In tandem with our 2025 Sustainability Report, we published a 2025 Climate Report that takes a deeper look at how we identify, manage and respond to climate-related risks and opportunities across our business.

As the energy landscape continues to shift, we believe it is essential to be transparent about how climate considerations are shaping our business strategy and operations. The Climate Report is guided by a leading disclosure framework and is intended to give certain stakeholders a clearer picture of our approach and our progress toward a lower carbon future.
