Daniel Brown
President, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member
Mr. Brown serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Expand Energy Corporation, and is a member of its Board of Directors. Prior to Expand Energy, Mr. Brown was President and Chief Executive Officer of Chord Energy Corporation and Chief Executive Officer of Chord’s predecessor, Oasis Petroleum, Inc. Mr. Brown spent more than 20 years with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and its predecessor, Kerr-McGee Corporation, holding various leadership roles of increasing responsibility across U.S. onshore, midstream, international and deepwater operations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Beacon Offshore Energy, LLC and has held board positions at several other energy companies.
Mr. Brown holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from Rice University.
Chris Lacy
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Mr. Lacy serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He previously served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Southwestern Energy Company. Mr. Lacy joined Southwestern in 2014 as chief litigation counsel and held various roles of progressively increasing responsibility. Before joining Southwestern, Chris was with Dewey & LeBouef, LLP and Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anaipakos, Alavi & Mensing P.C. with a practice focused on high value and high stakes litigation. He has nearly 20 years of experience representing clients in the energy industry.
Mr. Lacy earned his B.A. in Communication from the University of Texas and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he graduated summa cum laude and served as a Notes and Comments editor for the Houston Law Review.
Marcel Teunissen
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Teunissen serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Expand Energy Corporation. He joined the Company in April 2026. Most recently, Mr. Teunissen served as President, North America at Parkland Corporation. From 2020 to 2024, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Parkland Corporation, where he led the company’s financial strategy, capital markets activities, and investor engagement, supporting growth through acquisitions, integration, and large-scale transformation. Prior to Parkland, Mr. Teunissen spent more than 20 years with Shell plc in senior and executive finance, commercial, and strategy roles across upstream and integrated gas (LNG) businesses, based in the Netherlands.
Mr. Teunissen holds an M.S. in Economics – Business Policy and Administration from Erasmus University in The Netherlands.
Dan Turco
Executive Vice President, Commercial Activities
Mr. Turco serves as Executive Vice President, Commercial Activities. He previously served as Head of Global LNG Trading / Head of Asia Gas & Power Marketing in Singapore for ExxonMobil. Mr. Turco joined ExxonMobil in 2006 and has since held positions of increasing responsibility in upstream natural gas marketing and trading, spanning LNG, U.S., Europe and Asia gas markets. He began his career in oil and gas as an engineer.
Mr. Turco earned an M.B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University (Canada) and an Honors Bachelor of Applied Science, Civil Engineering & Management Science from the University of Waterloo (Canada).
Josh Viets
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Viets serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, having previously held the same position at Chesapeake Energy Corporation since February 2022. Prior, Mr. Viets served as the Vice President, Delaware Basin in the Permian Basin Business Unit for ConocoPhillips. He began his career with ConocoPhillips in 2002, working in a variety of technical and leadership roles in the U.S. and the United Kingdom. Mr. Viets has held leadership positions in operations, engineering, subsurface and asset management. Earlier in his career, he worked as a reservoir and production engineer supporting a diverse set of assets across the ConocoPhillips portfolio.
Mr. Viets earned his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
Chris Ayres
Senior Vice President – Corporate Development and Strategy
Chris Ayres was named Senior Vice President – Corporate Development and Strategy in June 2026. He previously served as Vice President – Corporate Development and Strategy and Vice President – Investor Relations & Special Projects at Expand Energy, and as Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer at Chesapeake Energy Corporation beginning in 2022. Prior to Chesapeake, Mr. Ayres was a mergers and acquisitions investment banker at Evercore in Houston, London and Dubai, advising public energy companies.
Mr. Ayres received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Tim Beard
Vice President – Drilling and Completions
Tim Beard was named Vice President – Drilling and Completions in April 2026, where he oversees drilling and completions teams and operations across Expand Energy’s portfolio. He previously served as Vice President – Drilling since October 2024 and as Vice President of Drilling, Completions and Facilities at Chesapeake Energy Corporation since 2022. Mr. Beard joined Chesapeake in 2006 as an asset manager, having previously worked at both Burlington Resources and ConocoPhillips.
Mr. Beard earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Blake Boyce
Vice President – Supply Chain
Blake Boyce was named Vice President – Supply Chain in October 2024, where he leads teams to optimize the company’s supply chain, mitigate risk and reduce total cost of ownership. He previously served as Director of Supply Chain at Chesapeake Energy Corporation, where he joined in 2012. Prior, Mr. Boyce served in various Supply Chain roles at Chesapeake, supporting the vertically integrated oilfield services business and drilling teams. Previously, he held supply chain leadership roles in gas compression, sand logistics and power solutions.
Mr. Boyce holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University.
Rob Brandenburg
Vice President – Chief Risk Officer
Rob Brandenburg was named Vice President – Chief Risk Officer of Expand Energy Corporation in May 2026. He is responsible for leading the organization that identifies, assesses and manages risks that could ultimately threaten the company’s business strategy and performance. Before joining Expand Energy, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Shell, most recently as Head of Risk Process, Data, Systems, Market Risk Operations, and Quantitative Analysis. Earlier in his career, he served as General Manager Credit, Risk, and Compliance at Motiva Enterprises LLC; Vice President, Risk Management at Peabody Enterprises; and Vice President Trading Controls & Risk Management at Tesoro.
Mr. Brandenburg completed his Ph.D. coursework in Quantitative Finance at the University of Oklahoma. He also earned an M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.
David Eudey
Vice President – Haynesville
David Eudey was named Vice President – Haynesville in July 2026. He oversees field production, production engineering, subsurface, land and planning responsibilities across Expand Energy’s Haynesville asset. He previously served as Vice President – Northeast Appalachia at Expand Energy since October 2024 and Vice President, Haynesville at Chesapeake Energy Corporation since 2022. Mr. Eudey’s experience builds upon engineering roles of increasing responsibility for more than 15 years.
Mr. Eudey earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Matt Garner
Vice President – Health, Safety, Environmental & Regulatory
Matt Garner was named Vice President – Health, Safety, Environmental & Regulatory (HSER) in October 2024. He is responsible for ensuring compliance with HSER regulations and internal standards, establishing governance to manage company HSER risks, and helping to lead and execute the company’s HSER strategy. Mr. Garner previously served as Vice President, Health, Safety, Environment and Regulatory at Chesapeake Energy Corporation since 2022. Prior to Chesapeake, he spent 16 years with ConocoPhillips with roles in the Lower 48, Alaska, Canada and Poland, most recently as their Global Chief of Health and Safety Assurance.
Mr. Garner earned a B.S. in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Brooke Dover
Vice President – Chief Information Officer
Brooke Dover was named Vice President and Chief Information Officer in October 2026. She oversees the organization’s information technology (IT) strategy and systems, helping to ensure technology supports and advances the business. Ms. Dover began her IT career at Chesapeake Energy Corporation in 2008 and most recently served as Director of Technology Delivery, leading solution delivery across the company’s strategic technology platforms. Throughout her career, she has led major initiatives spanning ERP implementation, M&A integration and enterprise transformation.
Ms. Dover holds a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems and Economics from the University of Oklahoma.
Sarah Grose
Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer
Sarah Grose was named Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer in October 2026, overseeing the company’s accounting function. Ms. Grose joined Chesapeake Energy in 2019 and previously served as Director of Corporate Accounting, where she helped lead the organization through several acquisitions and integrations. Before Chesapeake, she held leadership roles at White Star Petroleum and Continental Resources, and she began her career in assurance at Ernst & Young.
Ms. Grose holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Andy Huggins
Senior Vice President – E&P
Andy Huggins was named Senior Vice President – E&P in July 2026. He previously served as Vice President – Haynesville at Expand Energy since October 2024 and Senior Vice President & Division Head at Southwestern Energy Company. Mr. Huggins previously led the Corporate Development team at Southwestern and played a key role in both Montage and Indigo acquisitions. He began his career at Halliburton in 2003 as an engineer before joining Southwestern in 2007. Throughout his career, he has led in various roles with increasing responsibility, including in operations, midstream and commercial and corporate development.
Mr. Huggins earned an Electrical Engineering degree from Louisiana State University and an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Jason Kurtz
Vice President – Marketing & Origination
Jason Kurtz was named Vice President – Marketing in October 2024 where he oversees all commodity sales, transportation and midstream commercial development. He previously served as Vice President, Marketing at Chesapeake Energy Corporation since 2022. Prior to Chesapeake, Mr. Kurtz was Vice President of Marketing and Transportation at Southwestern Energy Company and brings more than 25 years of experience in gathering, interstate transportation, commodity sales, hedging and asset optimization.
Mr. Kurtz holds a business degree from Oklahoma State University.
Dan Lopata
Vice President – Appalachia
Dan Lopata was named Vice President – Appalachia in July 2026. He oversees field production, production engineering, subsurface, land and planning responsibilities across Expand Energy’s Appalachian assets. Previous roles included: Vice President – Technical Services and Digital Advancement and Vice President – Completions, Facilities & Production Services at Expand Energy and Vice President, Marcellus at Chesapeake Energy Corporation. Mr. Lopata began at Chesapeake as an intern in the drilling department and grew his career by serving in engineering roles of increasing responsibility and across various company assets.
Mr. Lopata earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College.
Toni Parks-Payne
Vice President – Human Resources & Employee Services
Toni Parks-Payne was named Vice President – Human Resources & Employee Services in October 2024, where she oversees Human Resources and the amenities and services for the corporate employees and campus. Ms. Parks-Payne previously served as Vice President, Human Resources and Employee Services at Chesapeake Energy Corporation since 2022, having joined the company in 2005.
Ms. Parks-Payne earned a B.S. in Public Relations with a concentration in kinesiology from Kansas State University. She also earned an M.A. in Wellness Management from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Dennis Price
Vice President – Chief Economist
Dennis Price was named Vice President – Chief Economist in June 2026, responsible for translating economic conditions into insights to guide the company’s business strategy. He previously served as Vice President – Financial Trading, LNG, Risk & Analysis at Expand Energy since October 2024 and Senior Vice President of Marketing, Transportation and Commercial at Southwestern Energy Company since 2023. Mr. Price has more than 30 years of experience in various leadership roles, recently as Vice President of Marketing and Trading for EP Energy. Prior to EP Energy, Mr. Price spent 17 years with El Paso Corporation, first establishing a wholesale power trading and marketing business, then managing an international cross-commodity portfolio.
Mr. Price earned a B.A. in English from the University of California, Davis and an M.A. in British Literature from the University of Oregon.
Brittany Raiford
Vice President – Treasurer and Investor Relations
Brittany Raiford serves as Vice President, Treasurer and Investor Relations. She oversees the company’s financial and financial risk, while also managing communications between Expand Energy and the investment community. Ms. Raiford served as Vice President, Interim Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer from August 2025 to April 2026, and previously as Vice President – Treasurer at Expand Energy and Vice President of Investor Relations at Southwestern Energy Company. Prior, she held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility in Southwestern’s accounting department, primarily focused on financial reporting and operations analysis. Ms. Raiford began her career in the assurance practice at Ernst & Young.
Ms. Raiford earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Finance from Texas A&M University and was named by Hart Energy Forty Under 40 as an emerging leader in the oil and gas industry in 2023.
Justin Shaw
Vice President – Tax
Justin Shaw was named Vice President – Tax in October 2026, leading the company’s tax function, including compliance, accounting and reporting, and planning and strategy. Mr. Shaw joined Chesapeake Energy in 2013, serving in various leadership roles within the tax organization, most recently as Director – Tax. Prior to Chesapeake, he spent six years at EY, where he advanced to the role of manager.
Mr. Shaw earned a B.B.A in Accounting and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jeremy Davis
President, Twin Eagle
Jeremy Davis was named President, Twin Eagle Marketing in September 2026 following the merger of Twin Eagle and Expand Energy. He previously served as Twin Eagle’s President and CEO, having joined the company in 2010 with over 15 years of experience in the energy services industry with emphasis on physical natural gas and trading. Before that, he was SVP of Natural Gas Trading at EDF Trading, managing all aspects of EDF’s North American gas platform. He was a founding member of Eagle Energy Partners in 2003 (staying through its sale to Lehman Brothers and then EDF) and also worked in marketing at Dynegy and Sequent Energy.
Mr. Davis earned a B.A. in Marketing and Management from Oklahoma State University.
