Meet Robbie: A New Way to Connect with Owner Relations

May 28, 2026

Meet Robbie, our Owner Relations chatbot.

On May 15, Expand Energy introduced a new AI-driven tool designed to make it easier for owners to get the information they need, when they need it.

Robbie will be available across multiple areas of the Expand Energy website, including the homepage, Owner Relations page and Leasing page, giving owners quick and convenient access to answers and resources 24/7.

What Robbie Can Do

Robbie is built to help owners and prospective owners quickly navigate common questions and requests, including:

  • Updating owner account information, such as address changes or EFT enrollment
  • Answering questions about well status
  • Understanding leasing opportunities
  • Recording community concerns such as a gate being left open and informing the appropriate Expand Energy employee

Designed for Convenience and Increased Access

Robbie is an additional resource for owners, available 24/7, that expands how they can engage with our Owner Relations team. It does not replace existing communications tools — owners can still reach out to the company directly as they always have.

For more complex or specific inquiries, Robbie will point users to the appropriate Owner Relations contact information or route them to forms that go directly to our team members for follow up.

“We want every owner to feel informed and connected to our company, and that starts with clear, straightforward information about their leasehold,” said Josh Viets, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Our new AI chat bot makes that even easier by offering 24/7 convenience and real‑time support. Strong communication is the foundation of every owner relationship, and this tool helps us deliver on that commitment.”
